Warning : May contain Peanuts

We got some upsetting news yesterday. After having a few episodes with Bentley and peanuts, we decided to officially get him tested. And you guessed it. He's allergic. I feel so bad for him because so many foods contain peanuts or traces of peanuts . Not only peanut oil but some oils contain peanut protein which is used to thicken the sauce or recipe. Sooo, that means checking everything! We even have to carry an epipen which is kind of scary to think you might actually have to use it. I am especially more of a basket case now since I know it is an allergy and not just an intolerance. The next step is to have a blood test which will measure the level of antibodies in his blood when put up against a peanut protein. This will tell us how severe his reaction will be. But, regardless if he comes in contact with any sort of peanut or trace of, its epipen and 911.
