A day in the Snow

Bentley has been going crazy wanting to go outside for the past few days, but it hasn't been the best weather conditions for playing in the snow. So finally we had a beautiful snow fall that wasn't too icy or cold. We bundled up and headed outdoors. We managed to find a sled and make our way to the tiny hill between the neighbors house and ours. Bentley loved it. I could hardly get him to come inside.

Bentley has always had a love for Alana. But since recently William has shown his own fascination for the puppy, we have seen a little burst of jealousy over the dog. So now they have become cartoon buddies. Alana is a snuggler so she was so comfortable next to Mr. B.

Ice Storm

We try to convince people that living in Iowa has it's perks. Well this isn't exactly one of our better attractions. The picture isn't very clear but if you look closely you can see that the bottom layer is PURE ice topped with icy snow. We have been in a bit of a winter storm this last week. Not the most pleasant way to spend your days, locked up in the house. This is only the beginning.

What more can I say. I love these super sweeties. No presents can top these two. I Love you boys!

Bentley is all smiles

CHEESE! Bentley is all smiles for Christmas. He amazingly is super smart about the whole deal. He knows where Santa lives and all about the reindeer. He has had to learn the hard way though. When we visited Santa he thought when he told him what he wanted that meant he got to take it home with him right then. So we got it straightened out though. Now he can't wait to see what's in is Santa bag.

William is so funny. He is still smiling with his whole body. He is getting so big, but he still fits under the tree.

Bentley Redecorating my tree

I really should have taken a before picture of the tree, because it has been completely redecorated. I just left it though because he is still changing things around. It's a good thing we have a little boy tree. He loves the ornaments. They are wagons, cars, planes, trikes, and teddy bears.

Christmas just wouldn't be very fun if Bentley wasn't there to help decorate. He was lucky enough to help Grandma too.

Yummy Cereal

This is Bentley being such a good helper. He loves to feed William. I have even caught him sneeking a few bites for himself. (Yuck)! William Does pretty good. He still spits a ton out, but hey we've got plenty of time to learn. We started him a little early because he wasn't getting satisfied on just a bottle.

The Hillarious Mr. Bentley

So You have to love those moments when kids say the funniest things without meaning to. For example my son picks up everything you say and can say it back VERY CLEARLY. There is no...
"He said ship" to try and cover things up. This isn't one of those moments but I think it's pretty cute.

Mom Says: I am going to the gym later do you want to come.
Bentley : Will there be kids at "Jim's" house.

Mom: You are such a "silly billy"

Mom; Please don't play with that, you're to big
Bentley; No, you say I to little.

Trick or Treat

Bentley did such a good job trick or treating. He got a bag full of candy and had so much fun. If you asked him what he was dressed as he would tell you a big scary dragon.

I love fall for all of the pretty leaves on the trees and for all the fun jumping once they fall off.

Bentley loves to help bake. He begged to make these cupcakes so we whipped them up and he decorated them just in time for Halloween.

My baby is 4 months

William is getting so big. He is 4 Months. I can hardly stand it. He is the cutest little man. He is super smiley and loves to be entertained. He loves to snuggle and hates to be on the floor. He is a big eater. I can hardly keep up. He makes me smile.

Best Date Ever!

My ever loving' husband took me to this concert last night. It was awesome, except Reba was over a hour late!. It was supposed to start at 8pm but didn't start till 9:20. It was still really good.

Somebody turned 2 today. Can you tell which one. Ok Trent just likes to play with all of Bentley's toys. He is such a good Daddy he gets down and plays trains or tunnel or whatever Bentley wants. Thank you for being such a good Daddy. What can I say, your just a kid at heart.

Yes Ladies and Gentleman that is a Zoe doll. She just so happens to be Bentley's favorite sesame street character. He loves her, mostly he likes to see how high he can through her up in the air in hopes he will hit the ceiling fan. True love isn't it.

Bentley did awesome blowing out his candles. I didn't see any spit or pizza particles fly out. WAY TO GO!

Bentley loves animals and he loves to ride on things so when he spotted this he just had to go for a spin. Yes what you see is a genuine Goat Drawn Chariot.

Horsie Horsie Don't You stop

For a special Bentley Day we took him to a local pumpkin patch. They had all sorts of activities including pony rides, jumpers, craft fair, petting zoo and So much more. He loved the ponies and since he was the only rider at the time he got a little extra time. He got on the pony like a pro. He didn't even need us to hold him up. I new there was a little cowboy in him.

West Yellowstone

Trent's trip just wouldn't have been complete without a trip to the cabin. And he new that meant I needed a special trip to West Yellowstone. So before we even settled in to the cabin we took off for West. Thank You honey! We didn't actually go into the park we just took Bentley's picture for good memories.

On the road again.

The lOOOOONG ride to Idaho. Bentley and William both did fabulous on the way out. It was a breeze. The ride home, not the smoothest but still it was great. We had so much fun! Thanks to everyone who we got to reconnect with and to those we didn't, you're in our hearts and we still love you.

This wan't actually Bentley's very first time being kissed. It just so happens it is with the very girl who stole a kiss on the daycare playground last fall, his first kiss. It is now recorded Lainee Jean was Bentley's First kiss

Bentley's Girlfriends

If there is one thing I miss about Idaho besides family. It would have to be Bentley's friends. They are so stinking cute. They are the best girls. Probably because they have great Mommies and Daddies. We love you guys! Anyhow our friends the Horsley's has us over for pizza and brownies and we met up with our other friends the Jacksons. We had so much fun seeing everybody. Bentley still asks about them.

My Beautiful Boy!

If I must brag for a moment... I have the best kids. Bentley is such a charmer and so adorable in every way. I was really nervous that William would be trouble since how could someone end up with to perfect kids. But he is not! He is the best baby. He sleeps great, he nurses great. He is happy and just is great in all the best ways. Plus he has managed to keep his dark hair and dark eyes, which Trent is very happy about. He is just simply beautiful.

Aunt 's Nanci's Petting Zoo

Our Trip just wasn't complete until we stopped by my Aunt Nanci's for Bentley to see the animals. She has quite the little farm complete with Donkey the Donkey. She has four sheep, chickens, geese, and a plethora of ducks, including one special duck. Tango is her name. She was mine when I lived in Idaho Falls. I got her on a whim one day and raised her to adolescence and didn't have room for her anymore so I gave her to Nanci to take care of. Thank you aunt Nanci! She also has a farm dog named Bear who watches over the animals so no predators get them.
